Sub-sea and Submarine Pipeline Positions:

Sub-sea Technology Services, Amid Engineering and Development Company (AEDCO) has positions open for sub-sea and pipeline engineers, project engineers and project managers. Positions require BS or MS degree in Civil, Mechanical or Ocean Engineering or equivalent. Other educational qualifications may be considered depending on experience and specific position requirements. Positions require competent PC computer skills using Microsoft Office applications in addition to any job specific software. Applicants must possess verbal, written and presentation communication skills in English appropriate to the position and experience level. The Tehran based positions involve office work with occasional travel and offshore support activities in Persian Gulf.

Project Director and Project Managers:

Candidates must have a proven successful track record of managing EPIC projects, and have experience in the design, procurement, construction and installation of sub-sea pipelines. Fifteen years of experience is required as a minimum.

Project Controls Manager:

Candidates must have a solid background that will include budgeting and cost control, contract and sub-contract administration and other project supporting services. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate relevant project controls experience on EPIC projects. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.

Pipeline Project Engineer:

Candidates must have a good all round experience as a project engineer on various project types including EPIC, design, procurement, construction and installation of sub sea pipelines. Preference will be given to candidates who had experience in the design of offshore pipelines: hydraulic analysis for line sizing, pipeline routing, pipeline riser designs conventional, steel cautionary, j-tube), concrete weight coating thickness for on-bottom stability, cathodic protection design, and the design of pipeline related facilities. Candidates must have at least 10 years of work experience.
