Construction Department

Engineering construction has many interfaces and Amoco's construction department has special expertise in managing construction phases of the projects.

The department effectively manages civil & steel structure works (including offshore steel structure design), by utilizing and coordinating the capabilities of specialized Iranian and/or foreign subcontractors. The department provides services in line with total management strategy of AMIDCO, by assigning a management team with ample experience and undisputed expertise in execution of industrial projects

Through proven and continually improved techniques and with the help of Amoco's planning department, appropriate control techniques are applied to avoid shortages in material availability, due to unusual conditions at the early stages of deviation from planning, and deficiencies in construction and installation phase.

Having an exceptionally strong process engineering staffs and backed up by strong cooperation with the clients, AMIDCO also manages commissioning of plants as part of the total management services. Experienced process and specialist engineers will help the contractors’ commissioning supervisors to inspect the plants and check the punch lists prior to commissioning and provide the necessary guidance and control to put the plants smoothly and quickly into operation.
